Durnin Research is working with Luton Culture to provide an independent assessment of the performance and impact of the Hat District Capital Project 2018-2021, and a ten-year framework to measure long-term benefit to 2028.  Over the next three years the Hat District project will develop three historic buildings and a new build: Hat Works, Hat Factory, Hat House and Hat Studios into creative workspace and more space for arts and culture in the centre of Luton, supported by SEMLEP, Arts Council England, Luton Borough Council, Historic England and by Luton Culture’s own investment.

This project builds previous work that Jonathan Durnin has led and delivered for Luton Culture, which including an Economic Impact Assessment, and economic impact research and analysis for the successful Hat District Local Growth Fund Bid to SEMLEP.
