Durnin Research and partners DC Research are delighted to have been appointed by the Association of Independent Museums (AIM) to refresh and update the AIM Economic Impact Toolkit and Sector Summary Report.
The Toolkit, first produced in 2010, is now well established in the sector as a pragmatic and easy to use way for museums to quantify their economic impacts using well understood and accepted techniques.
As part of this work museums are being asked to complete a short survey by 3rd Mary 2024. Click here to take the survey!
Each of the previous versions of the Toolkit have been very influential across the UK museums sector. This research will update the 2019 study to reflect the ongoing demand for the Toolkit as well as the need for it to be refreshed to reflect the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the cost-of-living pressure on the sector.
This work follows on from the original research in 2010, and updates in 2014 and 2019, delivered by Jonathan Durnin and Dr Stephen Connolly from DC Research.
