On Friday’s trip to Caernarfon for meetings on an options appraisal project, I managed to capture a couple of shots of my journey.
I took the train from Leicester to Bangor, changing at Nuneaton, Crewe and Chester. At Bangor, I cycled the old railway line, which is now the ‘Lon Las Menai’, to Caernarfon, with some stunning sections over looking the Menai Strait.
Arriving back in Leicester at dusk, Victoria Park had a gothic atmosphere in the cold mist. A long day, but great to get some fresh air and avoid having to make the journey by car.
